Yamashiro ("Mountain Palace" in Japanese) was built between 1911-1914 as an authentic replica of a palace in the mountains near Kyoto. It was originally created as a private residence for two brothers to house their fabulous collection of treasures from the Far East. Set high in the Hollywood Hills, the stunning Yamashiro Restaurant is available for corporate and charity events, weddings, filming and personal entertaining.
