Wedding Favors - Unique favor ideas?

I'm looking for some unique ideas for wedding favors. I'd like to spend less than $3/person and don't want to send people home with a knick/knack they'll just throw away. Any ideas? Thanks, Melissa

Ours was a winter wedding... we made little decoarted boxes (for a few cents a peice at a craft store) and filled them with a little bag of hot-(white)chocolate. The outside had a label: "Snowman soup". Makes more sense when you have a snowman themed wedding... ;) I have also seen wildflower seeds pressed into paper/sponge shapes... butterflies, etc.
