Themes and Ideas - Bible bridal bouquet

When my mom got married she carried a white bible with white roses and ivy on it. My mom has passed away and I want to honor her by carrying her bible. The bible cover is in bad shape (the edges have cracked off) so we are going to make a cover for it with cardboard (for shape) and satin. My problem is what flowers to put on it and how to have it arranged. I don't want a white bouquet so I can't do like my moms. But it is very hard to find samples on the bible bouquet because it isn't done alot anymore. Anyone have any ideas?

Couldn't you do it similar to your mothers, just change the color. Or even take the picture to a florist and have a sample one made up.

I would agree with that...see the flowers your mom used maybe you can get the same ones in a different color, or maybe you can get similar flowers in your colors...if you take a picture to the florist I am sure she/he could take it and run with it in terms of creating something beautiful!
