The Bridal Party - Bridesmaid Dilemma

My bridesmaid canceled on me shed rather go on vacation a few days after my wedding :( but my fiances ushers girlfriend is a good friend of mine but shes in college, can you be a bridesmaid if your going to school in another state. I wanted to know before I asked (the last thing I want is another person telling me no after planning for it)

I just had a bridesmaid drop out, so instead of replacing her I took the opportunity to save money, time and headache and reduced the wedding party. Fortunatly it was easy to cut a groomsman, he was the husband of one of my other bridesmaids. I put him in charge of the rehersal dinner bbq since he is a chef. Hope this is somewhat helpful!

I don't see why you couldn't have someone from another state as a bridesmaid. If you aren't worried about losing a groomsman though, you could always take your bridal party down by one on each side.
