Bridal Party Gifts
What is everyone giving to their bridal party members as thank you gifts?
I was thinking a gift certificate to the salon for our hair and then also a less expensive gift. Any ideas?
The items I will not do are as follows:
Maids:
Jewelry (My sister just did this for her wedding)
Compacts (My FSIL did this for her wedding)
Men:
Beer mugs(FSIL and sister did this for the men)
Need something different
Thanks =)

Embroided Towels
Well I am an ebay fanatic, so I have this lady who custom embroided each bridesmaids name on a bath towel for me in Lavender thread (wedding color). Then i got this seller to make a body scrub for me that smells like Victoria secrets love spell and made it purple and i will give each one some body scrub and a personalized towel along with a cute little nail clip set shaped like a heart in lavender.
The towels $7.00 each (yes $7!!)
Body scrub 1 5lb bucket for $6.00 so enough to make 5 bridesmaid a pound of scrub.
Nail clippers set shaped like hearts $1.99 each.
Pretty awesome huh?

Re: Bridal Party Gifts
How about giving the guys cigars....if they like them....or giving them gift certificates to a manly store..lol..
I have no idea for the girls...I know a lot of the ladies are giving flip flops to their girls....or you could do a jewelry pouch, like the kind that you can clip it the inside and roll it up.....

I like the cigar idea, men always love cigars. I found this website in a magazine called tossdesigns.com. They have cute girly stuff. I will probably get my BM stuff from there.
Anyone have any other GM gift ideas?

Wedding Party Gifts
Hi,
Well, how about maybe a nice tote for the girls? www.sparklingcelebrations.com has these totes that can be monogrammed and maybe you could load it w/all kinds of diddies? I have a couple of totes like this and we take them w/us when we go on road trips or to class or the gym or wherever. It's something you know they'll get use out of and think of you when they're loading it up.
Also, they have a men's gym back that can be monogrammed that is kind of a different spin for the guys. My gift giving preference is something that will be useful after the day of the event, so I lean this way.
Congratulations to you & good luck to you on your search!!

Re: Bridal Party Gifts
i am giving my attendants a tote bag with their name and wedding party role on it. inside the tote is going to be a package of tissues, a necklace, a pair of flip flops, disposable cameras, hair clips, garters, picture frames and key chains. i am putting tissues in because i know that i cry at weddings and you can never have enough tissues. the disposable cameras are going in because sometimes you get moments that you wish you had a camera. they will be able to us them at the reception, and while we are getting ready. i thought the garters would be a cute thing for them to have. especially for my younger girls. they can play dress up with it later.

They have many choices to choose from Engagement Ring Keychain Favors to Initialed Eyeglass Cases they're totally awesome by the way. Check them out @ http://www.blissweddingsmarket.com.

I am giving my 8 bridesmaids, LL Bean Healthy Bag Back Pack, Bath and Body Works Body Wash, Body Cream, Body Splash, and I'm Buying them a Necklace and Earing set. Its a 133.00 for the back packs, 125.00 for the bath and body works, and Necklace and Earing set is 55.05. So the grand total is 313.05. But its worth it My girls are helping out so much with the wedding. The deserve ever cent.

I had the girls fill out 3x5 cards of like things the collect and their favorite smells and things I am putting a box like a picture box that I got from Michaels for like 1.50 each and I am putting things that they will use or collect in them. Like candels one of my girls collects boyds bears the nurse ones so I am just putting little things like that in there.
