Detroit, MI - 2008/2009 Bridal Role Call

I was looking at the post and I realized that no one post on this board since 2007!!! I was just wondering if there were any brides out there that are getting married this year or next year! If so, lets get posts goin!!!

New to the scene but I am a 2009 bride from the Detroit Area. I am looking for everything, I am planning a wedding all by myself and I need all the help that I can get.

I am getting married in Detroit, but I live in Houston, Texas.I found a great hall in Dearborn this is what they offer and the price: hall,a half keg of beer, pop all night,ice,cups,table cloths, napkins, 2 bartenders, set-up, clean-up for $1150.00 if you add the food it will be $2100.00 plus a $300.00 refundable deposit returned the next day if nothing gets broken. My sister is handmaking our keepsakes. She is also designing the bouquets! I saved so much money with 45 days to go I am still $1,700.00 dollars under budget and only have the cake to buy when I arrive in Detroit July 8th. I can now sit back and relax stress-free!!!!!!!!

My wedding day i s 45 days away!!!!!!

I was wondering the samething. My wedding day is 45 days away and I can't wait!!!!!! I have been planning for the last year everything is finished except for the cake, luckily my sister-in-law is a pastery chef (boy did I luck out) lol
