Craspedia Globosa
Billy Buttons

Craspedia globosa originated in the Outback of
Australia.  Its common name is "drumsticks", but
native Aussies gave it the name Billy Buttons.

The Billy Button is a globular flower which grows
atop an unbranched and leafless stem.  The
stems are approximately 6 inches long and its
pom pom-like flower gives it the look of a drum
stick used to beat a bass drum.

The flowers are yellow and are used to add
interest to a table arrangement.  If properly
cared for, they will last up to two weeks.
